Step-By-Step

Check out this step-by-step guide to learn a little more about what you can expect from start to finish.
Initial Consultation
In the initial phase, we will meet to discuss important project details such as site location, floor plan, estimated timeline, and budget. There's no worries if you don't know the answer to these questions. Most of our clients have never built a home before so we are familiar with the common questions and concerns you may have.

Investment
After we have finalized our budget we will sign a contract for you to take to the bank that includes details like pricing and plans. After you are approved of your construction loan, we can begin laying the ground work for your site.

Permits & Land Prep
Before we start doing anything on the property we will need to secure a few permits such as construction, grading, and zoning. This process can take a few days to a couple weeks. Once we obtain the proper permits, we will begin grading to prepare for the foundation.

Foundation & Framing
We will use footings to prevent the house from settling or movement then will pour concrete to solidify the foundation. After we pass inspection, we will move onto the framing phase. The framing includes the floors, walls, and roof systems. It's one of our favorite stages because it is where you can really start to see your vision come alive in the layout of the house!

Interior Prep
In this phase we will install your windows, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, insulation, and drywall. Then we will move onto flooring, painting, and any other interior prep work such as lighting, appliances, shelving and more.

Exterior Prep
While the interior is being completed we will also be working on the siding, painting, doors, and landscaping.
If you feel confused or lost during any of these phases our trusted team of experts are here to help you weigh your options and guide you throughout the entire home building process.
